The 35th Annual Great Debate
Well-reasoned arguments. Thorough research. Strong rebuttals. These are the hallmarks of a good debate. Uproarious laughter. Unbridled confidence. Unpredictable accusations. These are the hallmarks of The Great Debate.
Two teams of comedy superstars will battle it out with jokes, jabs, and justifications, in an effort to impress the all-mighty moderator. The facts will be dubious, the allegations will be tenuous, and the laughter will be contagious.
Travellers Aid will work with the Festival to provide support for people with disabilities or mobility impairments who wish to attend The Great Debate. Support can be provided from Flinders Street Station and Tram Stops 6 or 11 on Swanston St, as well as within Melbourne Town Hall. Patrons needing assistance can call 0498 023 959 to speak to the Travellers Aid on-site coordinator.
Please note, the following performances will be filmed: Sat 12 Apr
