Sophie Smyth

Work in Progress Show

  • Australia

WINNER Best Writing Green Room Award (for The Aspie Hour)
Rebel Wilson Comedy Commission Finalist
Murray Bridge Baby Show 1st Prize

Fresh from her ‘19 Green Room Award for Best Writing, Sophie Smyth is writing a one-woman show about how she’ll do (almost) anything for the plot. But it comes at a cost. And she takes it too far. This is a work in progress. Literally. There will probs be singing. It contains lots of things she’s afraid to say and things she maybe shouldn’t. She’ll talk about her ADHD and autism again, but in like a fun kinda way. This is a true, messy, funny, and maybe sad work in progress.

'Talented.' ★★★★ The Age (for The Aspie Hour)

'Charisma for days.' ★★★★ Time Out Sydney (for The Aspie Hour)

'Funny as f#%k.' Time Out Melbourne

Written by and starring Sophie Smyth
Directed by Casey Gould
